Attorney Godfrey Gillett worked in social services prior to receiving his legal education.  During his years in social work he worked with at risk teens, worked on both women and men shelters, did case management and served as a substance abuse and mental health counselor.   At this time he came to appreciate that people in need of assistance require compassionate, attentive, and zealous advocacy delivered by skillful professionals.  This knowledge was the driving force behind his decision to enter the legal field.

Attorney Godfrey Gillett’s legal background has included several years working with abuse and neglected children, corporations and pharmaceutical companies, as well as individuals and families.  These wide range of experiences has allowed him to strengthen his legal skills, taught him how to recognize and adapt to new legal challenges, and has sharpened his professional acumen.  Attorney Godfrey Gillett is also a competitive amateur boxer and brings with him the same courage, intelligence, toughness, and dedication to the legal profession that he has in the ring.
